Off-duty city police officer was hit on I-83 North (Jones Falls Expressway) at the Northern Parkway exit on Monday morning.
The female BPD officer was in her personal car when she stopped to help another car accident and was struck.
The officer suffered non-life threatening injuries but was taken to Shock Trauma.
