In response to police shootings in Minnesota and Louisiana and the deadly attack upon law enforcement in Dallas, more than 20 churches, community leaders and law enforcement leaders from around the Washington, DC region came together at the invitation of Rev. Dr. Lee P. Washington, Rev. Matthew Watley and Reid Temple AME Church to Stand Up and #MakeTheCovenant in the Nation’s Capital. Black, White and Blue together praying, protesting and planning together in a commitment to do better as a community and a nation.
