Today is the National Day of Prayer here in the United States. It is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May, designated by the United States Congress, when people are asked “to turn to God in prayer and meditation”. This year’s theme being “For your Great Name’s Sake! Hear us…Forgive us…Heal us.!”

We, as believers, know that we don’t wait once a year to pray, we pray every day and throughout the day. Prayer is simply communicating with God. Some prayers are short, some are long, some use powerful words, some just use one word, like “help!”. Whatever the case, make sure you pray and don’t ever stop. Our country needs it. Our world needs it. And you need it.

Blessings!
