Rubio And Bush Prepare For War After Iowa:

His focus may now be squarely on Ted Cruz, but Marco Rubio’s path to the GOP nomination increasingly runs through someone else: Jeb Bush.

Facing the possibility of a third-place finish in Monday’s Iowa caucuses, Rubio will soon head to New Hampshire and battle in a state where polls show a heavily contested fight brewing among establishment-backed Republicans vying to become the alternative to Cruz and Donald Trump.

Of the establishment favorites, Bush is now viewed internally as Rubio’s biggest threat after the New Hampshire primary, according to advisers and confidantes to both men.

2nd Virginia Tech Student Charged In Girl’s Death:

A second Virginia Tech student has been charged in the death of a 13-year-old girl whose remains were found in North Carolina, authorities said Sunday.

Natalie M. Keepers, 19, of Laurel, Maryland, was charged Sunday with one felony count of improper disposal of a dead body and one misdemeanor count of accessory after the fact in the commission of a felony, according to the police in Blacksburg, Virginia. Police said Keeper was a Virginia Tech student.

The latest news about Aretha Franklin probably won’t do much to quell chatter that she has a beef with Patti LaBelle.

The Queen of Soul told Detroit’s Channel 4 that she is planning to launch her own food line, which will include desserts. Her contemporary, LaBelle, made headlines over the holiday season after Walmart couldn’t keep her Patti LaBelle Sweet Potato Pie on its shelves.

Franklin said she hadn’t tasted LaBelle’s dessert, “but Ms. Patti’s gonna have to move that pie to the side!”

The singer said she plans to offer her own brand of chili, gumbo and baked chicken.
