Not restoring voting rights

 

Amendment 4, which would restore voting rights to convicted felons who serve their time, is one of the most controversial proposals on the ballot this year, according to reports. Former felons what a chance to show that they’ve been rehabilitated — but if the amendment is passed by voters,hundreds of thousands of people could be added to the voter rolls in time for the 2020 presidential election, which is not a good look for Republicans who’ve made it their business to keep people like that down.
