The Stronach Group issued a letter Wednesday demanding Baltimore withdrawal its lawsuit to keep the race from leaving the city.

“We respectfully demand that the City Action be immediately withdrawn. The failure to do so may result in our clients seeking all available sanctions including costs, expenses, attorneys’ fees, punitive damages and any other relief a court may grant,” says the letter from attorneys Alan Rifkin and Arnold Weiner on behalf of The Maryland Jockey Club of Baltimore City, Inc., The Maryland Jockey Club, Inc., and Pimlico Racing Association, Inc.

You can read the letter in full below. The city has yet to issue a response.
