Donald Trump‘s week started off really rocky.

He kicked off the 4th of July weekend by tweeting out a swipe at Hillary Clinton, adding another link to his “crooked Hillary” message.

But you won’t find the original image because many pointed out that the words “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” were enclosed in an image that looked like the Star Of David, setting off a slur of anti-Semitic accusations. Trump’s campaign later switched out the star for a circle.

“The Donald” blamed the media for twisting his message:

Then on Tuesday, former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke voiced his support of the tweet by saying he welcomed the “hidden message,” according to U.S. News & World Report.

In February, Trump refused to disavow Duke’s endorsement and left a very ambiguous taste in everyone’s mouth as to whether or not he welcomed White nationalist support.

But Trump didn’t stop there. According to The Hill, he said the following about Saddam Hussein at a Tuesday rally in Raleigh, North Carolina:

“Saddam Hussein was a bad guy, right? He was a bad guy, really bad guy.”

He doubled down, but not without a slight snub to the Obama administration’s anti-terrorism policies.

“But you know what he did well? He killed terrorists,” Trump said. “He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights, they didn’t talk. They were a terrorist – it was over.”

But the real kicker is the following quote:

“Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism. You want to be a terrorist, you go to Iraq. It’s like Harvard, OK?” Trump said. “So sad.”

It is very sad that Trump would assign a whole nation to be a hub for terrorism. We’re not sure how the rest of his week will go, but then again, it is only Wednesday.
