MAJOR & Amber Riley Perform at L.A. Sparks/Washington Mystics Game

The WNBA’s L.A. Sparks invited GLEE actress Amber Riley and mega-producer Harmony Samuels’ new artist MAJOR. to sing their latest song “Change Right Now,” during their game against the Washington Mystics at the Staples Center on July 11.

As the Sparks advanced to their 93-82 win, MAJOR. and Amber called audience members into action in response to the recent racial and legal tension revolving around police brutality.

“This is our response to the racial injustice happening across America in the free world, we want people to make this their anthem,” MAJOR. and Amber Riley said.

The inspirational song encourages unity and marching for change with lyrics such as “we can move mountains if we do it together y’all.”

Other celebrities in attendance included singer Elle Varner, blogger/author Karen Civil and actor Marcus Scribner.

“This is a major movement that we are trying to create, so I am calling on my other artists to join in because we as artists must come together and express ourselves as only we can,” MAJOR said. “The world is listening.”
