“Blackish” Star Anthony Anderson has been selected to host the second biennial Andrew J. Young International Leadership Awards and 85th Birthday Celebration to be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta.
The awards, presented by The Andrew J. Young Foundation, will pay tribute to Ambassador Young for his civic service and contributions to global communities. It will also honor the next generation of leaders from around the world who, in the tradition of Young, are committed to civil and human rights for all.
Honorees for the 2017 Andrew J. Young International Leadership Awards will be announced in early May.
Featured artists set to perform include Usher, Jill Scott, Wyclef Jean, Estelle and Anthony Brown.
