John Legend won a Tony Award on Sunday night as co-producer of August Wilson’s Jitney, which won the award for best play revival.
After winning multiple Grammys and a 2015 Oscar for best original song for Selma’s “Glory,” winning a Tony means Legend is just one award away from achieving “EGOT” status – winning all four major American entertainment awards.
