Hawaii Five-0 actors have left the show because they weren’t being paid as much as their white co-stars. Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park will not appear in the next season of the show.

Their characters, Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua absence will be explained in the season premiere. Kim and Park had been seeking equal pay as fellow co-stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan, but were unable to reach a deal with CBS. Their final offer for pay was still 10-15 percent lower than what O’Loughlin and Caan make.
