Hurricane Harvey has – in one way or another – affected us all, but it hit close to home for The Walls Group who call Houston home. To show their support, they’ve started a GoFundMe account and organized a Hurricane Harvey Relief Concert in Atlanta where they’re currently waiting until they can return home.

“We’re putting on a concert for our city Houston,” the group wrote on Instagram. “We’re stranded and can’t get home but while we’re gone we don’t [want to] just sit around and do nothing. Donations from this event will be going to Houston to help out our city. People’s homes are underwater, possessions are lost, people are being hurt, this storm hit us hard and people’s lives are really being impacted. If you can’t make it you can still donate … if you can’t do either please keep us in your prayers.”

Darrell Walls, who also sang an inspirational song amidst devastation, confirmed their family and friends back home are okay.

“Houston is home. And right now home is hurting. And I found myself, at first, worrying and getting angry,” he said. Worried about all the ‘stuff’ … then God reminded me that all of my family was ok. No friends hurt. He also reminded me that He’s been doing this God stuff for a loooong time and that it could be worse.”

Info on the relief concert is below in the flyer. For more info on how to donate, visit gofundme.com/harvey-relief-hope4houston.
