The Baltimore City Public School Board voted unanimously against allowing school resource officers to carry guns in the buildings. The School Commissioners Board voted 10-to-0 to oppose Bill 31. While the decision isn’t binding, it certainly sends a clear message to the General Assembly on where the School Board stands.
Officers have to lock up their guns before reporting for duty.
