The Judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial dismissed a juror on the third day of deliberation because they told a joke to the courtroom deputy about the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

The system Is not broken; it is working as Intended. Internal guidance for the Department of Justice explained that action against law enforcement is governed by a federal criminal statute 18 U.S.C. § 242, which states in part: "Whoever, under color of any law, …willfully subjects any person…to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States [shall be guilty of a crime]." 

In an exclusive interview with CNN, Jacob Blake detailed how his shooting has left him in fear for himself and other Black people vulnerable to suffering the same fate he did, and how he won't feel like he truly survived his encounter with police "until something has changed."

It's been one year since Jacob Blake was shot seven times and paralyzed from the waist down by a Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Jacob Blake, a Wisconsin Black man who was paralyzed after he was shot in the back by a white officer last summer, filed a civil lawsuit Thursday accusing the officer of excessive force.

The family of Blake is considering a civil lawsuit against Rustin Sheskey.
