University of Pennsylvania graduate student Mackenzie Fierceton won the Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford University. But she lost the scholarship after it came out that she lied on her application about being poor, abused and growing up in foster care.

On August 27, eight-year-old Black girl Fanta Bility was killed by police gunfire in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, outside of a football game at Academy Park High School. A month and a half later, only one person has been charged with murdering Fanta—a Black teenager who didn't kill anyone.

“A group of maybe 11 to 13 men surrounded us and started yelling racial slurs and telling him he was a traitor and started assaulting us,” said Kevin Maxson, who told reporters of the incident that reportedly took place in front of the Roadhouse Cafe Bar and Grill Swatara Township, Pa..

Capellan called the right to vote sacred and called on commissioners to prioritize election integrity by honoring the deadline posted on the instructions. "Commissioners must protect the integrity of this election and honor the return deadline they sent out to 17,000 voters, release details about which voters in which municipalities received this false information, and publicly publish a detailed plan to ensure this never happens again," Capellan continued."
