Actress and former Fox commentator Stacey Dash is running for Congress in California. The “Clueless” star filed paperwork Monday to run in California’s 44th district, which is currently filled by Democrat Nanette Barragán.
Included in the district where she filed are Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach. The district has long been represented by a Democrat and it overwhelmingly voted for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016 in her loss against President Trump. The 51-year-old Dash is known for taking controversial stances on issues affecting people of color so this should be interesting to see how she fares in this election.
I guess we will all have to wait and see.
