Bishop Hezekiah Walker has become a staple in gospel music. Specifically, choirs. We can bet your church has probably sang a few of his songs…

With a career spanning over 25 years, the New York native and Grammy award-winning artist not only created a footing in music, but got an education from Hugee Theological Seminary and the New York School of the Bible in between. He debuted his first album, I’ll Make It, in 1987 and hasn’t stopped sharing hits since. His latest project, Azusa: The Next Generation 2, dropped in 2016 featuring a hit song for radio called “Better.”

Walker is the founder and senior pastor of the Love Fellowship Tabernacle churches in Brooklyn, NY and Bensalem, PA which was founded in 1993 and continues to pour into his community. Last year, he launched an $80 million housing project in Brooklyn in an effort to help build up the area and people. If you ask us, he’s a model example of “practice what you preach.”
