Some people just won’t let Beyoncé be great. An unidentified organizer is planning to have an Anti-Beyoncé Protest Rally outside of the NFL headquarters because they believe Bey’s Super Bowl performance
was too black, should be considered a form of “hate speech”.
Here’s the list of ridiculous accusations the group has listed as their reasoning for protesting:
“Are you offended as an American that Beyoncé pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl?
Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement?
Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified?
Come and let’s stand together. Let’s tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!”
We bet this same person (or group of people) were alright with Beyoncé singing “Bootylicious”, “Dangerously In Love” and “Single Ladies” but for some reason, the minute she shows that she’s proud of her culture, “Formation” becomes an issue.
Some artists’ careers wouldn’t be able to handle such a backlash, but Beyonce is so indoctrinated in the hearts and minds of her millions of fans (including the Obamas). Her “Bey Hive” is so committed that there’s an another group of protestors who will be at the “Anti-Bey” rally to show their resounding support.
Here’s the description of the “GET IN FORMATION: Anti-Anti-Beyoncé Protest Rally” that will be going on at the same time as the trolls demonstration:
“When Black women affirm Blackness/Black womanhood, they are attacked and silenced.
This is a counter protest to [click link here for info] a racist, historical attack on the Black Panther Party and Beyonce, plus an excuse to celebrate a very awesome song and #BlackGirlMagic moment.
Sisters, dress in your “Formation” video/Super Bowl performance-inspired gear and make this a moment a joyous one! Allies and friends, show up and show your support!
We have asked our biggest stars to get political and Bey went there. Don’t let anyone make her powerful statement about the value of Black life be overshadowed by those who don’t believe that our lives matter.”
Beauties, why do you think some people are so offended by Beyoncé’s declaration of black pride?
