The Baltimore City Circuit Courthouse East flooded Thursday afternoon after a sink in a women’s restroom fell off the wall.
According to a Department of General Services spokesperson, the women’s bathroom, the entire first floor and some of the basement took on water. The lobby was most affected, with an inch of water on the floor.
Trials were disrupted due to the building being evacuated.
City officials say the courthouse will re-open on time Friday morning.
