Congrats are in order for The Real‘s Adrienne Bailon and gospel singer Isreal Houghton, who officially tied the knot over the weekend in the romantic city of Paris.
The couple were reportedly friends years before dating and got engaged over the summer. Bailon showed off her dazzling ring with the Eiffel Tower in the background right after saying “oui!” To continue with the theme, the couple snapped their first wedding photo at the same stunning location.
“I genuinely just feel so blessed and grateful. I’ve honestly never been happier in my entire life,” Bailon said in a statement to PEOPLE Magazine. “I’ve never felt what I feel right now. I can’t even describe what it is, but it’s such a peace mixed with total excitement.”
The Houghtons exchanged vows in front of 70 of their closest family and friends at the Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris. Guests included radio personality Angie Martinez and The Real co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
“I’m so glad we chose such an intimate group of who have shared in our journey and know our hearts and that I honestly feel comfortable crying in front of,” says Bailon in her statement. “I didn’t want to invite people I felt I had to put on a performance for. I wanted every moment to be genuine and really special and that’s what it is going to be.”
