Allergy sufferers! Wondering why things are kicking into high gear so early?
Well, if your allergies have been out of control, it’s because pollen counts are at an all-time high.
It has been reported that for the past 10 years, pollen counts have gone up, and this year is no exception. The average peak pollen count is 1,000, but the count has reached as high as 1,600 already.
So if you are in the 20% to 30% of the population that is allergic to pollen, you may want to use over the counter treatments. Just make sure to do it often and in time and that you always follow the directions on any medication you take. Also, check with your physician to make sure you are medicating properly.
