In Bradenton, Florida, U.S. Marshals arrived with guns drawn at the home of Kada Staples and her three-month-old during a raid conducted by the cops who were reportedly searching for a murder suspect—at the wrong apartment.

Terry Duane Turner is free on bail after killing unarmed Adil Dghoughi, lying to police about the circumstances and then being allowed to turn himself in weeks later in the shooting of an immigrant from Morocco who only pulled into Turner's driveway to turn his car around in Martinville, Texas.

To the casual listener, there might be nothing wrong with this conversation. But therein lies the problem with it. Normalizing talking points meant to undermine advancement while engaging in intellectually dishonest commentary only emboldens groups who deal in dishonesty.
